ITESOFT solutions will automate the processing, clearing and accounting of 300,000 invoices per year worldwide. "Productivity up by 30%, processing times halved, enabling invoices to be accounted within 72 hours, traceability of each invoice throughout the process, quicker consolidation of accounts during the close period, tools easily adopted by users: these are the improvements observed in France over the last 4 years, brought about by the use of the ITESOFT solution. That's why we decided to extend the solution to the entire Group," comments Capgemini's Finance Transformation Manager, Eric Jahn. Since 2005, 14 business units, including Capgemini Service SAS, Capgemini France SAS and the French Sogeti units, have been using ITESOFT.FreeMind for Invoices to automatically capture, process and account for their invoices (ADR) in the Oracle E-Business Suite ERP system, together with ITESOFT.Share for automatic validation and cost allocation (Workflow) as well as electronic storage and consultation of images (DMS). Return on Investment was achieved in 12 months. These 2 solutions will now be deployed in 22 countries in North America, Western and Eastern Europe, India, North Africa and Scandinavia. The scope of the project will cover 300,000 invoices a year, 600 DMS access points and 13,000 Workflow users. The ITESOFT solution will automatically process the invoice images scanned by Capgemini's Capture Centres and will then send the electronic invoices to the Group's shared service centres in Poland and India. The documents will then be sent for validation over the Web to one of the 13,000 employees responsible for clearing invoices. "In addition to the gains observed in France over the last 4 years, the user friendliness of ITESOFT's solution, the possibility of deploying it worldwide on an industrial basis, and the close partnership that we have formed with ITESOFT were also determining factors in our decision", adds Eric Jahn. "This contract confirms ITESOFT's position in the global intelligent document capture market.
