A European Group

Founded in 1984, ITESOFT today is a European group. The company is present in nearly all European countries, with offices in Germany, France, and the United Kingdom, and partners in Belgium, Luxemburg, Morocco, Spain and Switzerland. ITESOFT offices and representatives cover 80% of the European market.

Leveraging its excellent financial situation, the ITESOFT Group is investing in a very ambitious development plan that focuses on two key directions: international growth and technology innovation.

ITESOFT employees 182 people and generated sales revenue of 20.3 M€ in 2009.

ITESOFT’s international growth efforts have earned the company a decisive position on Europe’s largest markets.

Key initiatives include developing commercial partnerships as well as seeking opportunities for external growth. The latter has resulted in several successive acquisitions over recent years, including the Automatic Document Processing branch of MATRA Systèmes and Informations (France), HRH Business Technology (UK), FormsConsult Software GmbH (Germany), and the activity of Almas Ingénierie (France).

These operations helped ITESOFT establish a strong position in major markets quickly, broadening its offer to include integrated solutions with ever-more exhaustive methods for processing and managing information flows.

ITESOFT’s strategy is to significantly invest in research and development in order to continue to build its technology leadership, and to continuously offer its clients the most innovative and highest-performing solutions for automating their document flows.

Every year, 15-25% of ITESOFT’s budget goes into R&D. This investment is focused both on new technologies such as Full-Text reading, cursive character recognition, automatic document learning, document understanding… as well as on new system architectures such as distributed and service-oriented architectures (SOA). ITESOFT is focused on constantly improving the interoperability, adaptability, and security of its solutions so that our customers can be confident that ITESOFT will solve today and tomorrow’s business challenges.

In addition to its significant internal efforts, ITESOFT also works in close collaboration with several French and international research laboratories, effectively creating one of the world’s largest R&D groups in the field of electronic document handling. These efforts are a strategic lever for generating technological innovation.
